Lauren
Lauren Mensinger is the owner and one of the stylists here at L Studio. Lauren began her career in the industry about 6 years ago. She attended The University of New Hampshire first and received her bachelors in Business Administration. After college ended, Lauren found herself unfulfilled in the Finance industry and entered into the fashion world. She enjoyed the merchandising and management aspects to her position, but still was unsatisfied. Lauren attended Continental Academie in Hudson, NH and immediately after receiving her cosmetology license, she moved down to the Boston area. She was sculpted by worldly trained stylists that evolved her into the talent she is now.
Lauren specializes in dry cutting men and women’s hair as well as blow drying and up styles for any event. Through her past careers and experiences, Lauren’s listening skills are well developed. She is here to give you exactly what you want even if you cannot verbally relay it to her. So if you are looking for a stylist to come to you and style you and your friends for a special occasion or have had problems in the past with your stylist listening to your needs, then Lauren is the stylist for you.
Angie
Angie Merry has been a stylist since 1999. She has worked in Boston, Massachusetts on Newbury Street for 8 ½ years as well as Wolfeboro, New Hampshire for 5 of those years. Being trained in all aspects of hair styling, Angie turns no one away.
Hair color and foiling are a few of her favorite and specialty services to perform. She also loves cutting and styling men and women’s hair. She conducts full consultations with all of her clients to make sure their needs and wants are met. With a fun and outgoing personality Angie is looking forward to meeting new people and building a new clientele here in Portsmouth.
